Nyle DiMarco, 27, has become the first deaf contestant to win the Mirrorball trophy. After DiMarco and partner Peta Murgatroyd‘s steamy freestyle dance last May 23, there really was no doubt that he’d go all the way.
DiMarco was also the first deaf winner, and also the very first deaf contestant of 22nd season of America's Next Top Model. MMA fighter Paige VanZant and Mark Ballas was 2nd, while ABC News chief meteorologist Ginger Zee and Val Chmerkovskiy in 3rd. .
Nyle said he'll go back to his modelling career after the DWTS finale, “I have to go to Hong Kong for a modeling job and then Vegas for my foundation.”
