Jennifer Lawrence falls on the stairs on her way to accept her Oscar for Best Actress for "Silver Linings Playbook".

She told the crowd, "You guys are just standing up because you feel bad that I fell and that’s really embarrassing. But thank you".

Anne Hathaway who won the best supporting actress at the Oscars in Hollywood, California, on February 24, 2013 was wearing a pale pink pastel Prada dress with a pair of awkwardly placed seams. It created quite a stir on the red carpet. A Twitter account was even created for it https://twitter.com/HathawayNipple
Is it just me though, but doesn't her dress look like an apron? And just when she won, she had to wear that.

Country star Mindy McCready dead of an apparent suicide

Mindy McCready Dead, Country star Mindy McCready suicide

Mindy McCready, 37, country singer has died of an apparent suicide, the result of a single self-inflicted gunshot, the Cleburne County Sheriff's Office has confirmed.

E! News reported that McCready shot herself and her dog. Her body was found 4pm Sunday on the front porch of her home in Heber Springs, Arkansas, after neighbors heard gunshots and called the police.

McCready leaves behind two children, 6-year-old Zander and 9-month-old Zayne. Her death comes just a little more than a month after the death of her boyfriend, songwriter David Wilson, age 34. Wilson's death is still under investigation.

McCready's tragic death follows a recent commitment to rehab and her children being removed from her home. A petition filed by McCready’s father this year revealed serious issues in the singer’s life, including alcohol and prescription drug abuse, as well as erratic behavior. According to a report from E!, who exclusively obtained the file, Tim McCready attested that his daughter had taken to her bed since the death of her boyfriend last month. “Sleeps all day,” he reported. “Drinks all night and is taking Rx drugs.”

Furthermore, McCready’s dad detailed that his daughter was refusing to bathe, was not taking care of her two young sons, and was acting violently. “Screams about everything,” he recorded. “Trying to hit father. Is not making any sense of any conversations with anyone.” The elder McCready also noted that Mindy was “very verbally abusive” to her older son.

The judge in the case responded to this by ordering admission to an inpatient facility for up to three weeks, stating: “There is cause to find there is clear and convincing evidence that Respondent is in imminent danger of harm to herself or others, suicidal or gravely disabled." E! additionally reported that Tim McCready’s former son-in-law, Billy McKnight--who is Zander’s father--filed motions in family court a week ago seeking detailed investigation into Mindy’s ability to care for their son. Both of Mindy's children were subsequently taken into custody by state family services.

Reports said that Mindy's father had been staying with her at her Arkansas home until Sunday morning, the day of her death. When he left, "she was in good spirits and seemed to be fine," a source told E! News.

Model: Johana Casas died days before her 20th birthday
Valentine's Day wedding in hell. An Argentine woman married her twin sister's killer on Valentine's Day.

The bride's family and neighbors were against it as well as the crowd. A mob gathered outside the civil registry office where Thursday's wedding took place, throwing stones and eggs.

Edith Casas, 22, wed Victor Cingolani yesterday in a ceremony taking place less than a year into the groom's 13-year sentence for the murder of model Johana Casas, Edith's sister.

The couple married in Pico Truncade in southern Argentina, the same city where Johana was shot twice in the head days before her 20th birthday in July 2010.

Her body was found on the outskirts of the city, which lies around 1,200 miles from the capital Buenos Aires, and Cingolani, an ex-boyfriend, was convicted of murder in June last year.

'The Walking Dead' sets ratings record for AMC

the walking dead record, Walking Dead, walking dead record, AMC

Zombies are multiplying like crazy. AMC’s hit “The Walking Dead” set another series record Sunday night with 12.3 million viewers. The show was returning from a hiatus, and the Nielsen Co said it beats the series’ previous record of 10.9 million for its third season debut last October.

More than half of Sunday’s viewers, or 7.7 million, were in the youthful demographic of people ages 18 to 49. Nielsen says a cable series has never reached that big an audience in that age group.

That’s impressive by broadcast standards, too. While “NCIS” on CBS was the most popular drama on the air with 22 million viewers the previous week, fewer than 5 million of those viewers were under 50.

Unflattering Beyonce Photos, Publicist Wants Them Deleted

Unflattering Beyonce Photos

Last Tuesday, Beyonce's publicist is going around trying to get these unflattering photos of her client performing at the Super Bowl taken down.

The unflattering photos of Beyonce from the Super Bowl have been circulating the web, which is not unusual after a live event in which screenshots can be taken from the web and other media.

Reports said that the unflattering photos have upset Beyonce.

Buzzfeed put up a list of 33 Beyonce pictures and GIFs taken from her Super Bowl performance, and posted it under the title "The 33 Fiercest Moments From Beyonce's Halftime Show."

Then they received an email from Beyonce's publicist requesting them to remove the unflattering Beyonce photos:

“Thanks for taking my call. As discussed, there are some unflattering photos on your current feed that we are respectfully asking you to change. I am certain that you will be able to find some better photos.

    http://www.buzzfeed.com/lyapalater/the-fiercest-moments-from-beyonces-halftime-show

    The worst are #5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 19 and 22.

    Thank you very much.

    Yvette”

There are millions of unflattering celebrity pictures on the web that have memes and mean comments, I think that the publicist wants to avoid but the email plea from the publicist is likely to have an opposite effect.

You can find the Buzzfeed 33 Beyonce pictures here:

Oprah lawsuit Sex Discrimination

Oprah lawsuit Sex Discrimination

Hollywood Reporter reports that Oprah Winfrey's network OWN is being sued by a former employee on the grounds of sex and pregnancy discrimination.

Carolyn Hommel filed suit against OWN on Friday, claiming that she was replaced when she was forced to take medical leave while pregnant. Hommel was hired in 2010 as senior director of scheduling and acquisitions at the network. According to Hommel, she was on track to become vice president, but during her leave, her duties were given to a temporary employee. When she returned to the office, Hommel also claims that she was excluded from numerous meetings. A month after giving birth, on March 19, 2012, Hommel was fired.

After receiving encouragement, she applied for the vice president job, but Hommel claims that her former boss Michael Garner's performance review misrepresented her duties, making her seem under-qualified for the vice president position.

Hommel stated that these actions were a result of her pregnancy and ensuing medical leave. She is seeking unspecified damages.
