TV show "The Office" parade in Scranton



Stars of the comedy show "The Office" paraded in Scranton, Pa. to celebrate their upcoming series finale on Saturday, May 4, 2013. 

Thousand of fans gathered in the event to give the show a send-off. Fans were seen yelling asking for autographs from the stars.

Steve Carell, who played Michael Scott made a surprise appearance at the cast party.

"Thank you, Scranton," Carell told the crowd. "This all is because of you."

The filming of the show is done in California and the only filming done in Scranton was the opening credits.

The parade was followed by a concert by the stars of the show themselves; Rainn Wilson, who plays Dwight Schrute sang "We Are the Champions", Jenna Fischer (Pam), Kate Flannery (Meredith) and Ellie Kemper (Erin) sang "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun," while Paul Lieberstein played drums and Craig Robinson played the keyboards. Oscar Nunez and Brian Baumgartner, performed "Roxanne." Creed Bratton played two songs that shows his music talent, being a member of a 1960s band The Grass Roots.

The finale of "The Office" is scheduled to air May 16, 2013.
