AMC Goofs ‘Walking Dead’ Ad

Walking Dead

AMC made a mistake in an ad for The Walking Dead printed in the New York Times. The cable channel correctly stated that The Walking Dead had more viewers than shows like The Big Bang Theory and The Bible but the company mistakenly identify shows with the wrong stations.

AMC said that Modern Family aired on Fox and that The Voice aired on ABC.
Modern Family is aired on ABC while The Voice is aired by NBC.

AMC wrote in a statement: “It appears our fact checking department was overrun by zombies … We have the utmost respect for these shows and networks.”

The season finale of The Walking Dead brought in 12.4 million viewers to AMC. That’s 3 million more than the season 2 finale and a ratings record for the show.
